Privacy Policy

Shuttlers is built for badminton discovery, club operations, and social coordination. This page explains how account, venue, session, and community data is handled.

What Shuttlers collects

We keep the product focused on play, scheduling, and community management.

  • Account details such as your name, email address, username, profile photo, and sign-in method.
  • Profile details you choose to add, including bio, city, country, skill preferences, and social handles.
  • Play activity such as saved venues, saved sessions, club memberships, RSVPs, attendance, announcements, comments, chat messages, and reactions.
  • Venue and location context when you allow it, including your approximate search area for nearby courts and sessions.
  • Uploads you choose to send, such as club cover photos and profile images.
  • Basic device, session, and security logs used to keep the service working and to investigate abuse.

How we use information

  • To create and maintain your account.
  • To show relevant clubs, sessions, venues, and player context.
  • To power social features such as announcements, comments, replies, and live chat.
  • To support club operations including invites, host tools, ownership transfer, and attendance management.
  • To improve performance, reliability, and beta quality.
  • To investigate fraud, abuse, harassment, spam, or other violations of our rules.

When information is shared

Shuttlers is designed around privacy boundaries between public discovery and private communities.

  • Public clubs, public sessions, and public player details may appear on Shuttlers surfaces that do not require sign-in.
  • Private or invite-only clubs and private sessions are intended to stay hidden from public discovery unless an authorized member is signed in.
  • Content you post inside a club or session may be visible to the members and organizers who already have access to that space.
  • We may share information with infrastructure providers that help us host the app, store files, authenticate users, and operate the service.
  • We may disclose information when required by law, to protect safety, or to enforce our policies.

Your choices and controls

  • You can edit core profile fields inside Shuttlers.
  • You can choose whether to grant location access on your device.
  • You can sign out at any time.
  • You can delete your account inside the app. Account deletion removes the profile and associated owned clubs, sessions, and related data tied to that account.
  • If you need help with a privacy request during the beta, contact the Shuttlers team through the support or legal addresses listed on this page.

Retention and moderation

We retain information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate Shuttlers, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Some operational backups or logs may persist briefly after deletion, but they are not meant to remain in active product surfaces.

We may review reports, moderate user-generated content, and remove material or accounts that violate our rules or create risk for the community.

Children and updates

Shuttlers is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Shuttlers, contact us so we can investigate and remove the data where appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and align the policy with the live product behavior.
